Haley Suspends Presidential Campaign After String of Losses
Former UN Ambassador's Hopes Dashed After Poor Primary Performance
Haley's Campaign Falters, Leaving GOP Race Uncertain
WASHINGTON — Former United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley has suspended her presidential campaign, becoming the latest candidate to drop out of the race after disappointing primary results.
In a statement released Tuesday, Haley thanked her supporters and staff for their hard work but acknowledged that her campaign had come to an end. She did not endorse any other candidate.
Haley's departure leaves the Republican primary field in disarray, with no clear frontrunner emerging. The remaining candidates include former President Donald Trump, former Vice President Mike Pence, and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.
