C-Spire Pulls Advertising from Paris Olympics

Mississippi-Based Telecommunications Company Outraged by Opening Ceremony Performance

Company Blasts Mockery of Native American Culture

C-Spire, a Mississippi-based telecommunications company, has announced that it will no longer be advertising at the Paris Olympics after being shocked by the mockery of Native American culture during the opening ceremony.

"We were deeply disappointed by the offensive and insensitive portrayal of Native American culture during the opening ceremony," said C-Spire CEO Jim Guest. "We believe that it is important to respect all cultures, and we cannot condone the disrespectful and harmful stereotypes that were presented."

C-Spire is one of the largest telecommunications companies in the United States, and its decision to pull its advertising is a significant blow to the Olympics. The company had planned to spend millions of dollars on advertising during the Games, but it has now decided to redirect those funds to organizations that support Native American culture.

"We hope that our decision to pull our advertising will send a strong message to the organizers of the Olympics that this kind of behavior is unacceptable," said Guest. "We believe that the Olympics should be a celebration of diversity and inclusion, and we are committed to working with the organizers to ensure that this happens in the future."
