Isabelle Geneviève Marie Anne Gall, known professionally as France Gall, has tragically passed away at the age of 70 after battling cancer for two years. The beloved French yé-yé singer was born on October 9, 1947, in Paris, France.

France Gall's rise to stardom began in the 1960s, when her captivating voice and infectious melodies made her an instant sensation. She achieved international fame with her 1965 Eurovision Song Contest victory with the iconic song "Poupée de Cire, Poupée de Son."

Throughout her illustrious career, France Gall released numerous successful albums and singles that showcased her talent and versatility. Her collaborations with her husband, Michel Berger, produced some of her most memorable songs, including "Il jouait du piano debout," "Les Mots Bleus," and "Résiste."
